MythicRifts creates persistent corruption outbreaks that make the world feel active even when players are not following a traditional quest. Cores appear as escalating regional threats with guardians, visual pressure and server-wide reporting.
The system is built around controlled spread rather than indiscriminate terrain replacement. Players have time to discover, organise and eliminate the threat before it reaches stronger stages.
How it works
A corruption core establishes itself in an eligible region and begins progressing through configured levels. Each stage can increase environmental effects, danger and guardian strength.
Players track active outbreaks through world information, map hooks and physical signs. Defeating the core or guardian resolves the event and connects back into LevelCraft quests and rewards.
Administration
Administrators control eligibility, spread rules, level timing, guardians and notification behaviour. Clan-claim awareness prevents outbreaks from ignoring protected community areas.
